Therefore the Government of Indonesia to establish a cooperation agreement in the development of Renewable Energy (EBT). Director General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Rida Mulyana said that cooperation with India includes six things, namely, the exchange of information and technology joint research and development projects, transfer of technology.

India is able to develop renewable energy from the wind reached 70 percent. India's success in the development of wind and solar influenced by the location of the country is in the mainland auto landless and strong gusts of wind.
"The potential of wind they are large, so they have a lot of wind farm, I want to learn from them, how can they sell wind power at very low rates, if somewhere else is still 20 cents per kwh, they already sell for a dozen," said Rida.
According to Rida, factor Western countries can sell wind power at a low price, because they no longer dependent with imported raw materials and the full support of his government.
"Early days they are still dependent manufacturers outside, but not anymore, no tax holiday for developers, electricity sold is not taxable, and the government provides subsidies to land (in kind) for wind energy development," said Rida.
