Liteye Systems Create Killer Drone Weapons

The rapid development of technology that armed drones have become a new threat in the world of defense. But now there are a variety of weapons deterrent, which could cripple the drones from afar. One weapon that is Anti-UAV Defence System (AUDS), which can emit radio waves to 'turn off' the drone in the sky.

AUDS on display in Las Vegas, recently. He was wearing a high-powered radio waves for cutting off communication between the drone and its base, and then turn off the drone was in the air.

"If I can see it (drone), I can turn it off," said Rick Sondaq, Executive Vice President Liteye Systems, told the Guardian. Liteye selling antidote was in the United States and Canada. This antidote exhibited in Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Expo in Las Vegas this week.

AUDS itself is made by three British factories: Enterprise, Chess Systems, and Blighter. Sondaq hopes to sell the device to the airports and other vital objects which, if attacked, could endanger national security.

This tool can also be used in rural areas to ward off the drones used for terrorist activities, spying, or other unwanted activities.
How it works AUDS

In the first stage in the Blighter radar devices that focus on one or several drone which appears at a distance of up to 8 kilometers. AUDS system then track the drone was wearing infrared and camera, including with the help of special software. Then, the command line between the base and the drone attacked wear radio frequency scrambler. The process takes 10-15 seconds.

Not only the third British company AUDS makers have an idea like that. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing also has its own champion. They named Compact Laser Weapon System (LWS). This device can be separated into four small parts that can be transported easily by one or two soldiers.

Then, within 15 minutes LWS can be reassembled. LWS able to drop drones at a distance of 35 kilometers with a laser containing up to 10 kilowatts of energy. The antidote is claimed to be silent, invisible, and precision. (CNN)
