Two brothers Defeat Doctoral Graduates Vocational Expert in the World Jet Component Design Competition

Brothers, Arfian Fuadi (29) and M Arie Kurniawan (24), it's just vocational graduates. They learn engineering design autodidact. Who would have thought, it turned out to make it a global capability. They beat the doctor and expert on airline competition.

With the equipment and a minimum investment, Arfian and Arie founded the design company named Dtech-ENGINEERING in 2009. They are looking for opportunities online orders through the site. Orders come from Germany, and from other countries

In 2013, recalls Arfian, large companies General Electric (GE) of American origin Global Challenge held a competition to design a jet bracket.

"There are almost 700 people participating from different countries. My brother, Arie include sending," said Arfian told AFP at his home, Canden, Tingkir, Salatiga, Monday (01/04/2016).

Arfian design and Arie was interested. They win by putting aside other participants included a Swedish doctor experienced in the Swedish Air Force and graduate Oxford University working in the company Airbus.

"Si Arie come, we can design the most lightweight and strong, made of titanium. Perhaps our ideas at that time the most good," he said humbly.

Their achievements when it was not so shocked the world of education in Indonesia. However, Arfian proud that GE through Handry Satriago as CEO of General Electric Indonesia appreciation. Even now Handry has been regarded as a mentor for the duo brothers.

"We got to know the CEO and they do not jaim (keep the image) to play here, Salatiga. Anyway we so got a lot of experience. Mr. Handry has become a mentor for us," he said.

Now, Arfian and Arie has offices and 'employee' amounted to 7 people. Six of vocational graduates. Dozens of orders received designs from different countries every month.  (Detik)
