Compete quickly with fellow racers certainly not new to The Doctor. But what if his opponent on the track MotoGP is a robot?
This time the winner has yet to be determined. However, Yamaha as one of the motorcycle manufacturers have set up potential opponents at once the successor to The Doctor made from the machine. Robot racing was introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015, October 29 to November 8, 2015.
The robot was named Yamaha MotoBot Concept. As reported gizmag.com, the robot combines motor sport racing by placing the robot as a rider. In a brief press release, Yamaha also mentions it still continues to work on improving the latest products.
"The duty to control complex movements of the motorcycle at high speed, requiring a variety of control that goes with high accuracy sanga," wrote Yamaha. "So we do not expect the surprising results in the near future," Yamaha said in a release.
Gizmag themselves consider that this is not a breakthrough to just make a food delivery vehicle. Seeing the exposure of three-digit speeds, according to Gizmag, Yamaha seems to think to bring MotoBot into MotoGP.
